Saxmundham dog bite incident |

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was bitten by a dog in Saxmundham.
The incident occurred at some point between 2:30pm and 3pm on Monday 16 March in Carlton Park.
The victim – a woman aged in her 50s – reported that she was walking in the North Entrance of Carlton Park when a black and tan German Shepherd dog came out of the bushes, circled her whilst barking before biting her to the back of her leg.
The victim required medical treatment to puncture wounds in the form of a tetanus injection.
The owner of the dog is described as a white man, aged in his 60s, with curly grey/white hair and beard. He was wearing light beige chinos, dark blue jumper and a dark red gilet jacket.
